Beijing, July 21-22, 2025 – China and Georgia held high-level talks to strengthen Belt and Road cooperation in transportation, logistics, trade, and investment. On July 21, political consultations between the Chinese and Georgian foreign ministries focused on enhancing connectivity between the BRI and Georgia’s Middle Corridor Initiative. Georgia expressed readiness to amplify its role as a regional transport hub. The following day, Liu Jianchao, Minister of the International Department, Central Committee of CPC, met with a Georgian parliamentary delegation, pledging to advance all-round cooperation in politics, economy, and culture.
